GETTING TO KNOW MINA EBRAHIMI, FOUNDER & CEO OF SAINT GERMAIN CATERING
Mina started working at her parents bakery in Seven Corners, VA at the young age of 11. It was here she began to develop her experience in the hospitality industry, continuing to run her family’s cafe as it relocated to Tyson’s Galleria and was renamed Saint Germain Cafe. In 1999 and at the age of 26 Mina branched out and started her own company, Saint Germain Catering, focusing on corporate catering but also serving her top client’s wedding and special event needs. Today, Saint Germain Catering is the largest woman-owned catering company in the country, managing up to 200 events per day and serving more than 7,000 people each day throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia. Did you know…
1. Mina sponsors McBaine, a cancer detection dog with University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Vet Working Dog Center, helping with the university’s efforts in developing early ovarian cancer detection tools, for the estimated 14,000+ women that lose their battle with ovarian cancer annually.
